Automating a SuperBead:
Automating the SuperBead’s rinsing process is very easy with the SuperBead Automatic. The set consists of a motor and control electronics. The motor is easily mounted onto the existing 3-way valve of the SuperBead with 4 screws.
This way, a SuperBead can later be easily upgraded with an automatic backwash.
The filter is then backwashed fully automatically (for example, every day) to automatically remove contamination. The pond pump is connected to the control electronics so that it stops during the rinsing process. Optionally, a sludge pump can also be connected, which is activated during the backwash to suck the water out of the SuperBead and pump it to the sewer.
